If i had to say for freezing it would be XP.

Compatability would also have to go to XP.

Win 95 id say, even tho i havent had 'that' much expericence with it but since its older you would think so yes?

But..on the other hand if as in freezing you mean like win 98 has *alot* of BSOD, soo,heh..well..
* i hate BSOD i hate them i hate then grr*
Win XP better not have as many BSOD as 98, or else ill go mad! lol

Best commpatiblility:
Win XP for sure id say(which also again makes since since its the lastest OS, until Vista, whatever the name is now..lol comes out

ive only used 2000 and xp, I think 2000 is awful. But i really love xp
