What type of RAM should i get?

Currently, i have 512MB ram, i think its siemens, or something else gateway stashed in there, i was wondering what a good upgrade would be. I was looking at 1x512MB ram under $120, but if there's anything else out there, please tell me;

you're going to add another stick right? there is no need for you to get a different brand of ram....that one should be just fine

Its Siemens PC3200 and i believe its 400Mhz if im not mistaken

So i have 2 256s and i want to get the 2 corsairs above

I'm not sure how those 2 will work together, you might want to just remove the 2x256's and put those 2x512's in there...really no need for over 1gb of ram for a normal user

Well that corsair ram that you posted on there is awesome!! I can tell that it will work great, because my regular corsair 2x512 dual channel pack works great, so that's even better.

I would get the Corsair dual channel kit value ram DDR (2x512MB= 1GB DDR RAM) too.

Don't touch that RAM!! For a less $$$, you can get the lowest latency Ram in the world, and a 1GB kit of it (512MBx2). Here is the link, check it out!
