Default what program is best

i have a usb 300 gig hard drive.. it never had any os or anything on it. i just used it to store my video files for my projects. i deleted the partition by mistake. but i never did format. i just deleted it, then never ran it again because i knew i messed up. is there a program that i can just create a new partition and it would be just like it used to be?

If you're using XP, just go into computer management and select the drive to partition and reformat.
