What Athlon is he talking about? The Athlon 64 are for mid to high end performance and those really kick butt. It is true that the Athlons are better than Sempron CPUs.

I think you can upgrade to an Athlon XP 3500+ or is it 3200+? Haven't seen that in awhile though. I'm not sure if that's the highest it goes.

Umm i think it might be 3200+ cause 3500+ just seems a bit high but then i wouldnt know haha oh yea and he just said Athlon in general is way better than sempron and it would kick a pentium 4 2.8ghz anyday so yea

If you can find them around, get the Athlon XP 3200+ then. I'm sure it uses the Barton core, the fastest process among the line of Athlon XPs.

Otherwise, you can always do the swap of the motherboard and CPU.
