I went through 4 maxtor's last year. I switched to samsung and haven't looked back.

Ok thats the list of parts, please give comments its going to be my first build and i was trying to keep it really cheap.

Also a cheap monitor suggestion would be nice.

Yup. All that stuff will work just fine together.


A better case that is cheaper and easier to work in would be a RAIDMAX xB ATX-528P Beige Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case 380W Power Supply for $24.99

That is unless you're looking to build a small computer.

Wait, i didnt know a regular ATX case would work with a micro atx mobo.
Thats the only reason i looked at the micro atx case.

Yep, a micro atx motherboard will fit in an atx case.

That raidmax case is a lot better, and looks better.

Edit: If you are going to get an atx case, you might want to switch your motherboard to an atx motherboard, it will give you more upgrading options since micro atx motherboards have less pci slots. Just something to think about.

Yup. ATX mid tower and full tower cases will fit any micro ATX motherboard.
