Default what Hard drive is faster

I just bought a new hard drive http://www.futureshop.ca/catalog/pro...gon=&langid=EN

and i curently have a Seagate Barracuda 7200 Rpm as my os hard drive and i was wondering if the maxtor is a better one to have my os and games running off of......i noticed that the seagate is a Ultra-ATA/100 and the maxtor is a Ultra-ATA/133

Which one is better :S

the maxtor, definitely. 10,000 rates per minute is definitely faster than 7200, and it does make a big difference

ATA/133 is faster than ATA/100 so yeah, the Maxtor is faster.

Um, they're both 7200 RPM. The Maxtor is faster, though.

Well, probably not that much, but there is obviously going to be one. It may not be too noticeable.

True dat. Or revs per minute, if you're talking about engines or motors (and, yes, they're different).
