Default What is GTX 295?

I came across the following ebay listing and it specified that it had 2 Nvidia GTX 295s in it.

http://cgi.ebay.com/Custom-Built-core-i7-Gaming-Computer-w-Dual-GTX-295_W0QQitemZ220342864966QQcmdZViewItemQQptZDeskto p_PCs?hash=item220342864966&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_ trkparms=66%3A2|65%3A3|39%3A1|240%3A1318

I am looking for a new computer, but im not totally sure about buying on ebay and especially something with what must be brand new hardware...does anybody have any expierence with the GTX 295?, and is ebay a viable place to buy a computer from...i know that paypal holds the payment untill you get your time and leave positive feedback, so there should be no risk right? thoughts appreciated.

dude, for that price I could build you that same computer and have enough left over to build one for myself, the only game out there right now that needs anywhere near that kind of power is Crysis, is $6,000 worth playing one game when you could spend $2000 and play Crysis at very playable framerates and every other game maxed out...?

dude, seriously, you would just be throwing your money away buying that, it's worth about half of what they're charging and is way overkill for just about any user...

You could custom build the same thing for less than that price. Just search for the parts yourself, do some research and build the thing by yourself. We'll help you build it if you have trouble. Make a new thread and we'll come have a look if you want to custom build.

To answer his question (), GTX 295 is the latest nVidia GPU and currently the fastest out there. It nearly performs to the GTX280 SLI.
