what is a fanless cpu cooler? how do they work?

Ya lol I've seen liquid nitrogen for a cooler on an extreme overclock

Yeah, a fanless CPU cooler though needs as one of the requirements for you to have a nice airflow going in and out of the case to work efficently.

I wouldn't trust it with a Pentium 4, but the new Core 2 DUO's and AMD 64's probably wouldn't do too badly.
That said, I'd never leave a fan off completly, even then.

Yeah, thats a rather good one.

I'm not sure wheather its worth the price premium though, because I heard that the Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 was just as efficent at cooling.
