What does the (E )stand for on P4 3.20(E)GHz?

theres pentium 4 EE (stands for extreme edition)

never heard of just e

edit, im pretty sure the e stands for the model, in this case e being the prescott core


edit again - a google search of "3.20(E)" comes up with "prescott" in almost every result, its more then likely thats what the E stands for

Yeah the e is for the prescott core, and in another example, something like a p4 2.6c would be the northwood.
