i dont think amd has a counterpart to that chip. cuz like that chip's dual core, adn under $150. but the fsb is pretty low, and so is the clock speed. and it has no hyperthreading.

Well ALL AMD dual cores are wayyyyy better then that. Thats more of a double core anyways. Ok.. Well.. AMD performance wise.. I would say, maybe a 3200+. Because thats only a budget CPU. Eh.. Maybe a 3000+. Although not much more. 3500+ max. Although im sticking with my guess thats its about a 3200+..

Its not weak. Its just not fast. I mean it will still multitask great. Although its not going to game well, or run two or more heavy heavy prgrams at once. Although its going to work fine. Its a great little CPU.

well now that i think about it, for the price, that cpu is pretty kick-ass. $134 for a dual core. and it compares to an amd that costs ~$160
