yes, actually you can hook it up to a regular tv. i have one of those HDTV cables for my grpahics card and i was able to hook it up but expect having a very shitty screen

if you have a regular tv and are lucky enough to have composite connectors on it (such as my phillips does) you'll be able to hook it up. like stated before, you can't run really high resolutions obviously, but you'd be able to what movies from your computer.
