hi, I just bought a new computer because the other one crashed because of virus and stuff. Well this time i want to be protected. So I'm going to best buy, circuit city, and the internet to buy products. I'm looking for the following.

1. The Best Virus Scan Protecter.
2. Best Spyware Protector
3. Best Adware Protecter
4. And all the other protectors like (trojan, worms, and etc)
5. Start-up manager

Which products are the best

Ya gonna get various opinions here but heres mine
1. Bitdefender or nod32
2.spyware doctor or spysweeper
3 adawares canny
4 covered by antivirus
5 startup inspector

also consider getting norton ghost so ya can make an image of ya drive for backup purposes

This is what I use.
1. AVG and Avira AntiVir. (both are free)
2. Spybot s&d (free)
3. Ad-aware (again, free)
4. same as 1
5. I gues Spybots tea timer would count

All of those are free products and I'm happy with them. If I'd be spending money I would probably try nod32.

well i havent had a virus for ages now, and im using AVAST home edition, its free, i also use spybot which again is free, spyware dr is also good. Id recommend 2 spyware/adware protectors as some miss things others pick up.

i would never use NORTON again, ever ever ever lol. but thats my opinion.
