should I get this and keep my current system or should I switch over to a 6800gt pci-e and amd64?

I would say switch over to the 6800Gt PCI-e And AMD 64, PCI-e is the way to go, AGP is an older type and some motherboarrds dont even support them anymore
I would get the 6800Gt because you can take it along with you when you upgrade in the future to a new mobo
And the AMD 64 is the way to go, You can get something like a 3400+ for a decent price these days too

Yes, without a doubt switch..
AMD 64 with a 6800GT would perform great.. as it does with me.
The other combonation might perform great or well right now, but as Tommy Boy said it will shortly be out of date..
Getting a 64-Bit processor right now is a good move towards the future..
As is getting that PCI-Express x 16 card.. (as long as you have the slot for it).
