Default what cuases screeching noise?

hey guys, just wondering, what causes the screeching noises from monitors? could computer speakers have anything to do with it?

Nope. That loud, horrible sound is the electricity going through a packed area. That is the discharge of electricity that you hear. It should only happen once in a while.

I don't know exactly, but usally just issues with the electronics. And no, I seriously doubt speakers are cauing the problem. I had one older monitor that was just horrible. Usally the brightness has something to do with it, but some squeal any time they are on.

Yeah; its when the Gun is getting old and the electrons are getting inefficient on the Screen; instead of turning all the energy into light they sometimes make a buzzing sound. Its dreadfully annoying but can't generally be stopped. You will often find if you touch it it will go away.
