Default What could be causing this

When i download a file.. nearly every file is corrupt. what could be causing this? a virus on my computer maybe?

my anti virus... i never have that running when i download.. and how could that corrupt the file

Are you the admin of your computer? Cause i think the same problem was brought up a while ago and the files were corrupted because the admin had blocked this person's privelages of downloading any files.

It's either one of many things...
  • The server you're downloading from
  • Your ISP
  • Your internet connection in general
  • You do not have sufficient privilages to download files

yes i am admin...but why would fileplanet, with a very large download population have 3 different corrupt download files.. wouldnt you think that someone wolt tell them and they would fix it?

Check your RAM. I had one with 2 bad RAM, corrupting EVERYTHING. I had a lot of troubles installing WinRAR for a test...
