No, it only separates lumen and chroma. You'll still need a separate audio cable.

ahh ok so just to make everyything clear, to connect my lenovo x200 to this older TV all I need is this S-Video extender cable, will this one work?!
http://www.monoprice.com/products/pr...seq=1&format=2
and the VGA to S-video cable (short one) i already have, correct? (this one)
http://www.monoprice.com/products/pr...seq=1&format=2
also just another question, if I wanted to plug the x200 into another TV that only has the RED WHITE AND YELLOW CABLES, could I use this VGA To S-Video cable and instead of using the S-Video just use the yellow cable? but the yellow cable only does visual, no audio, so then what would i get for the audio? (i cant use the 3.5mm audio cabel cause it only does into one slot, where the red and white inputs doesn't the red mean like, left speaker, and the white one mean like right speaker? so what can i do?

So you're connecting this to two televisions? Buy a 3.5mm splitter.

no, im just talking about 2 seperate situations. let me explain I have 3 TV's 1 SONY HDTV 52". (which using the VGA/VGA input, with the 3.5mm audio cable). Then i Hvae a 25" panasonic non-hd TV, with an S-Video input. then I have a 22 INCH SONY non-HD TV. with only the red white and yellow input cables. I want to be able to connect my lenovo x200 to all of them. for the Panasonic 25" TV, i bought this cable and expected it to be longer
http://www.monoprice.com/products/pr...seq=1&format=2
so now i want to know how can i get this to be longer? which is why i thought i could buy
http://www.monoprice.com/products/pr...seq=1&format=2
and everything would be good to go, but u say its not... correct?

NOW a whole different situation

as u can see the VGA to S-Video cable comes with a S-Video input and yellow thing, so i was wondering if on my 22inch sony TV (that only takes red white and yellow, if i could just use the VGA to S-video cable (but not use the S-video, just use the yellow wire) could I then see images on my 22inch sony tv? then I also asked since this TV only has red white and yellow, how can i get audio on this TV? I cant use my 3.5mm audio cable cause it doesnt branch out into 2 different cables (red and white).. so what can i DO

So you're trying to connect that adapter to two televisions? Like I mentioned earlier, these adapters are a crap shot in terms of how they work. You could purchase a RCA Y cable to split the composite signal to both televisions. Most notebooks don't support both S-Video and composite at the same time.

Use this. You're going to have to split the signal, so use the adapter I suggested earlier.
