What are the cables called so that that I can connect laptop to HDTV?

Here is a 10 foot VGA cable. That may be a little short but it gives you and idea.

[edit] ok scratch this one. 01001010's choice is a better deal.

Is that a 1/8" plug for audio on the HDTV or RCA?

The three jacks below the S-video on the left are RCA jacks.
The yellow is composite video, and red and white are right and left audio.

why is 01001010's a better deal? whats the difference? besides the 20cents difference also is there a store I can buy this cable in? I don't wanta pay money for shipping considering its more expensive than the actual cable.. would radioshack have this? what about staples? or best buy? something like that

Just use a standard 3.5mm cable to connect audio.

Monoprice.com buys their products in bulk. Because of this, they're able to offer a lower price than most retailers.
