Default what backup image program

What backup image program do you use?

Also. after making a copy and say... reformatting how do you go about reinstalling the image. Burning to a disk? Using the same program that made the image?

I have my own backup program I wrote. It's a basic batch program that copies certain dirs to another dir. When it gets so big I then burn it to a cd or dvd.
