Well Just bought a sony 32" one question

It says that it has PC input.

Does anyone know if that would be VGA or DVI? It says that it does not have DVI input. So should I take it that the PC input is VGA?

Yes, it has one VGA connection. It also has two HDMI connections you could use with the proper cable.

Almost none of the consumer televisions today carry the DVI input, likewise with consumer notebooks.

DVI and HDMI are practically the same anyway.

Almost. But both are much better than VGA.

I wouldn't say in all situations though. The thing with digital is you either get a signal or you don't, especially during long runs.

VGA is analog, and despite loosing some picture quality, you'll still get a decent picture.
