webcam through a network

i want to use the webcam through our network, but the image quality needs to be quite good. I just need some software (preferably free ) that will allow me to see what the webcam is displaying on a different computer in good quality. I've tried netmeeting, but the image is in bad quality . my network speed it 100Mb/s.

it's good, but it's not live. I don't mind it lagging a couple of seconds behind, but this seems to be streaming from the net, so it's a bit slow. thanks anyway.
