Web cams and programs

I have installed a chinese web cam on my PC in WinXP

It's working ok in Yahoo - but not MSN or QQ or any other program - the drivers are installed properly but i'm wondering why the setup does not pick up the cam image and if there is any thing i can do to correct this.

I am out of ideas

maybe the fact that in win task manager when progs stop responding there are always doubles of apps running!!

oh man how miserable this is

what should i do to my webcam?

yer MSN doesn't work to good with WEB CAMS that do not have MSN sticker on it!
