What parts are needed to build a custom water cooling kit for a gpu and cpu?

Also, whats the most crucial part of the kit to keep the gpu and cpu cool (in other words, what part should have the most money spent on it).

Thanks

The whole thing.

Seriously, watercooling is a big deal, and shouldn't be approached at all unless one has the funds for the project.

That being said, you can go two routes - prefab with kits from Corsair for example (can't think of the other brands ATM) or you can do custom or custom kits (which are different than prefab, but you still have to assemble them in the system)

Dangerden is a great place for more water cooling resources, and would be the first site I visit.

every thing.
you need a good reliable pump
you need a good radiator so that is stays nice and cool
need good mounting blocks for best heat transfer.
