watch laptop on tv and freeze the tv screen to keep using the laptop

Hello

I have a query which I cannot seem to find a solution to.

I can connect my laptop to my tv to use the tv as the monitor for my laptop. I was wondering now whether i could freeze the tv screen so that I can still use the laptop without changing the tv screen

e.g. I want to watch a youtube video on the tv via the laptop but at the same time I want to use a different website or do something else on the laptop but I still want that youtube video showing on the tv. Is this possible??

Yes, instead of cloning the laptop screen to the tv just extend the TV as if the TV was a second monitor. then you can play a video on the TV and do other things on the laptop screen. Take a look at this link Extend Desktop
