Default WAP E-Mail

I don't know the best place to post this, but perhaps someone could help me out...

OK, I have a POP3 E-Mail account and recently got my phone on GPRS. I'm 100% sure it works because I've browsed to a couple sites and such. Now then, I'd like to check my E-Mail on my phone, but I can't for some reason. I've entered all the settings(incomming/outgoing server, user, pass, E-Mail address) Every time I try and connect, I get "Bad password or mailbox" I've double checked everything and retyped my password many times with no success.

I did get access one time, when I had no messages in my account. After that, it asked for my password and it's not worked since. I do know my password because I just access our web-based service without a problem.

Please help, it would be oh so helpful if I could access my E-Mail remotley!
