Default Wanting a new theme

Alright, all I want is a new theme, preferably blackisg shiny'ish.. you know what I mean.

I've never really been into this, so if someone could point me in the direction.. There's only about a million different sites, I want the easiest to use, and the least of a resource hog

Gracias in advance

For your PC setup, I don't think you'll have to worry much with being a resource hog. WindowBlinds have a bunch of them. Once you install that program, you can go online again and download many more themes. Preview them first and if you like it, download it. There are hundreds of themes there. I disabled mine because it was acting wierd with one of my programs. I should reinstall that program with WindowBlinds already installed to see what happens, but I'm too lazy.

There's a black version of that. Just get the UXTheme patch.

Here's that: http://www.neowin.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=140707

Put in the UXTheme patch. Then you need to extract the folder with that theme into C:/WINDOWS/Resources/Themes/[Name of Theme] (assuming C:/ is your HDD). Make sure that the folder opens directly to the Visual Style file and the Shell folder, and it should appear in your themes the way you normally change them under Display settings.

I don't know if I want to get into all that, last time I messed with my explorer.exe and shit (when I wasn't so smart) I messed it up, and had to reformat

Edit: wait, is this even messing with anything, or do you mean put it into the UTXtheme folder?

http://www.llbbl.com/data/nw_uxpatcher.zip

get that first (it patches a file that doesnt let you download extra themes), reboot, and then put that theme into the directory where you said u tried, and double click on the theme

There's a very nice Longhorn Theme going about that I recall seeing, and as I recall it was an exe rather than coming with a package. I cannot remember where I found it but somebody must know. It changed your boot screen and everything.
