Just wondering your thoughts on ordering 4 of these tomorrow for render nodes for our render farm for Modo. Only thing we wont get yet is the case because its out of stock.
I am using it for 3d rendering with modo. Modo only uses CPU to render. It wont need graphics card because it wont need to display anything. It wont even have a monitor hooked up to it. I will be remote accessing all of them from the main workstation. The case is also low because it will just sit there and take up less space. It should house everything pretty easily and be able to have an H80 installed to keep the cpu cold. Because the cpus will be running at 100 percent the entire time.
