could i download os then run it from an iso???

You have to have the ISO image, then make a virtual hard drive, and run the wizard to install it.

so get iso run daemon mount then ???.......

No, just "obtain" the ISO, and run the wizard, within Vmware player.

Another goody, is Microsoft Virtual PC 2004, free as well.

why not in the workstation why in the player also i saw in worksation mac inst a option

There is an option to choose your own, just choose that.
