Visual Volume Control

At one point in time, My windows XPS had a visual volume control. I'm not sure what happened, but It seems I've turned it off and no longer can see it. I kinda like that visual aide, but I can't seem to figure out how to turn it back on. Can anyone help me?

Haha. No no. When you press the volume buttons on the front of the laptop itself, a little bar would pop up on the screen, and a blue meter would either fill or empty the bar letting you knowhow much or little volume you have. It's simple and silly, but I liked it and want to turn it back on.

oohhh i know what ya mean now lol. i don't have a laptop or any type of keyboard that does that so i'm not sure sorry about that.

Well, thanks for the try anyhow. Perhaps would you know a site that could tell me where to fix this problem, or is it something I'll have to fiddle about with to figure it out?
