Default Re: Vista and XP question

I run Vista Ultimate X64bit and love it. Drivers are not hard to find if your running newer hardware. I'm not really sure about older hardware but I would think anything made within the last few years should work fine.

Sometimes you may have to download a specific version of software though. These are programs designed to run either 64bit or 32bit and can't work on the other. I have this problem with AutoCad2008. Works great on 32bit XP but won't even install in Vista even in compatability mode.

64bit does remove your limitations on memory and I believe is more future proof. Hardware is getting really cheap now so lower end PC's are comming with more powerful hardware.
