Default Vista(x86)

So being new(er) with Vista and even more so with x64 bit I was wondering:

I have a completely legal copy of a strong corporate Anti Viral Software, though it's designed for 32 bit.

Can everything that is designed for the 32 bit be installed in Vista64(x86) ?

I'd like to use it, as it is superior to any freeware I'll find.

Thanks Guys

I have tried :P

Just wondering if anyone knows any tricks?

So far all of my 32-bit applications have been automatically installed under my (x86) whereas this Anti-Virus software did not.

depends how old it is, it may have incompatibilities with vista in general. What software is it? If it will work in 32-bit vista it will work in 64-bit, but if it was designed for xp and is 3 or 4 years old it may not work in vista.

It should work on Vista 64-bit, unless they have a 64-bit version. I found many software working great on 64-bit. It's really a matter of the manufacturer. The real deal is 64-bit drivers. 32-bit won't work.
