I'm not one that usually advocates yelling at a tech support person, but this guy is full of BS. Tell him that your warranty is still valid and he is obligated to help you. Tell him to troubleshoot your problem as if you had bought the memory from him. And that you would be happy to provide him with any of the technical specifications of the memory. If he still won't help you, ask to speak with another tech support agent because clearly he's just incompetent.
