Default Vista question

OK, here are my computers specs compaq preario 7360 with a 500 megahertz amd k6-2 processor with 312 MB of RAM. Could I at least load Vista on to this computer and move around the OS just to see it? I expect it to be some what slow.

What do you guys think?

cheers

wow, thats like really low...
i dont know, you might.
i had a computer like that before, but it was intended for Win ME, and when we install XP, it looked really crappy, took forever to load, and crashes once in awhile...

Yea, I don't think Vista has a very good chance of running on that old Compaq. It requires at least a 1GHz CPU, 512MB of RAM and a 20GB HDD with 15GB of space available.
