Default Vista problem.

Hi all,
a simple question i hope.
i have just set up a friends new computer for her.
only two problems have occurred.
1) whenever she wants to access the Internet (via a belkin usb network adaptor)she is asked to enter her password from the ISP! if password is entered, she is online within a nanosecond. even when she ticks the remember password option, it will ask for the password the next time she goes online.

2) she installed office 2003, again she has a password issue!
when accessing her emails (outlook 2003) she is prompted to enter her ISP password if she hits the send and receive button. i have gone into the email accounts and checked the remember password option, however it always asks when outlook is closed then opened and send received hit again.

thanks in advance for any help.

Default Re: Vista problem.

Have you checked the router's settings? (usually accessed by 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.1.2) I know that on my router it has different options for instance if it's a connection that always on or one that needs a password....
