Vista or a New Equalizer

I was using the built in equalizer on Vista (rock setting) to make my ear buds sound less crappy. They actually sounded like my studio headphones somehow. Anyway i reformatted and now i don't have that option anymore.

Is there a way to get that equalizer back or a program so i can have my own custom presets? And yes i have downloaded all the updates.

Are you sure it was Vista's sound panel or the one for your onboard sound?

I did Playback Devices>Speakers>Enhancements> and there was the equalizer there.

I'm pretty sure it was Vista's because from the google searches i did they did that same route.
