Default Vista on my laptop

I made a thread a few days ago asking whether vista would run on my laptop. I upgraded the RAM to 1GB today, installed vista ultimate and it worked! It also seems to run quite smoothly. Thanks everyone for the help.

Here are the spec again if anybody was wondering:

Compaq Presario 1500
1024MB RAM
64MB ATI Mobility Radeon IGP 340M
Intel Pentium 4 2.4ghz
Windows Vista Ultimate

DESKTOP: Custom Build - HAF 932: Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium 64-Bit / Samsung 2433 24" LCD 1920x1200/ 6144 MB RAM DDR3 1600MHz Corsair Dominator/ XFX GTX 260 XXX Edition 896MB/ Intel Core i7 950 @ 4.01GHz/ 500GB Sata II 7200 RPM & 320GB 7200RPM/ 700W Jeantech Storm Modular PSU

You're processor is ok, but I would watch the ram. It's not going to run "smoothly" for as long as XP was. On 1gb of ram, Vista is like wearing a cloth shirt and XP to leather :P
