Recently bought a desktop. They are sending me the Vista cd, do I have to download it onto the desktop, or can I download it onto another computer? Thanks.

No, you won't be able to put it on another computer because the CD they are going to send you will only work on the computer it was intended to run on. (assuming your pc is a dell, gateway or a brand like that.)
