You don't. That's why it's smart to practice safe surfing habits.

Either do that or set up your web browser to delete everything besides passwords every time you click 'X'. I don't practice safe browsing and the only virus's I get are from Limewire.

If your running Firefox you can easily set that up as I have, and in Internet Explorer you can do the same.

Yah you can get a virus. Remember when you click on a website with a certain extension at the end a virus can easily get downloaded. Not to mention spyware and such. Run CCleaner, AVG, and such if you suspect a virus.

SO much easier than you would think. Every time you click a link, a small cache file is created on your hard drive, if the link is set to link off to an infected site, odds are you are caching part of the infection.

How do you force FFox to delete everything besides passwords?

Would this keep my temporary(.tmp) files clean?

Thanks

Don't. Any site can become an infected site in a matter of seconds. For all we know, google will become infected in the next minute and half a million people would be infected.

Have good antivirus, that will catch most stuff too, and use firefox, it's safer than IE.

Or......Just know where to get your porn....
