You should not be getting any Trojans let alone 10 a day, I see you use allot of smiley software, well there might be your problem, allot of these smiley sites come with hidden adware I suggest downloading a spyware program like spybot and run that. what firewall are you using? not windows own as that is garbage, if you want a the best free one then look here http://www.comodo.com/
I would also clear your cookies out and any temporary INTERNET files, if you find that when you delete the viruses they keep coming back, then delete them then turn off your system restore. then turn it back on, you could also try doing it in safe mode as well, IF your viruses are in W/32 files then leave them in the vault as these are main system files and need to be treated with care, try submitting them to AVG and see if they send you a fix.

Stop downloading all the porn! lol, jk.

You might wanna get some anti spyware programs (Spyware Doctor, Ad-Aware) to compliment your anti virus software. That would help keep that malware away.

Good to see another AVG fan in here, i would recommend some anti trojan, but about you're actual question what you neeed to do is:
  1. Open the control center (double click icon in tasktray)
  2. click on the window labelled "virus Vault
  3. At the bottom of the screen there should be an option labelled "Empty Vault"
  4. That should do it

Also the stuff blackjack mentioned, is good advice. Temp files and the firewall, both GREAT points.

I know you love your AVG, but would you be willing to atleast install the NOD32 trial and run it once? Even if you uninstall NOD32 right after that, maybe it will pick something up that AVG has missed.

Also to give more info on the situation:
When Brookfield first talked to me about this, he mentioned that it didn't start with 10 a day. I believe he said it was 7.

Thanks to everybody who's helped me, ha ha, I haven't downloaded any porn, I never do that, if I wanted to see hard-core porn there are several local shops that sell under-the-counter dvd's, I borrowed one from a friend for fun,, my god. I watched barely 2 minutes of it, it made me heave, I'm only human like most men I don't mind the sight of a naked, or near-naked young woman, [apologies to our female members] but this was pure unadulterated FILTH the first part [the only part I started to look at] involved three naked men & one naked female, literally locked together, I'm no prude, but this was sick sick sick, I stopped it straight away, & took it back, he only lives in the next road, & gave it back to him, with a few choice words!!
Right, now where was I, oh yes viruses, I shall keep AVG free, I can now empty the vault with one click & that's great, thanks again

Nah mate, I run Spybot regularly now, it finds some r-e-a-l stinkers, but it's obvious this particular trojan is self-generating, another six today, but I don't worry, I will of course if one one of the new very destructive viruses pops up, there's even one called the george bush, sounds like a joke, but it promptly fills every available space on your hard drive, you lucky lot who have two or more HD's will probably be safe, er....I think, ooer

You don't have to have two HDD to make yourself safe mate, just partition the one your using and make a recovery(back up) of your current drive, this will get you out of lots of headaches and save you losing most of your data.
If you then get a nasty on that drive you can restore from your partition, that wont get infected if you let it sleep in the background(never alter it)
