Hello. Does anyone know if there is such thing as a virtual DVDR/RW drive? I know that there are lots of virtual DVD-ROM drives but thats not what I'm looking for. I need a virtual dvd-R drive that can be accessed with other programs such as Nero, that creates ISO's or other images files, and is not only accessable within the software in which it was packaged. What I mean by that is if i used "John Smith's Super DVD-R Virtual Drive", i want to be able to use it in any program like NERO, not just with John Smith's Burning Software. Any ideas? Thanks...

Pentium 3 - 700 Mhz Processor
256 MB RAM
Windows XP Media Center Edition
Compaq Deskpro ENS P700
20 GB HDD

I'm not really sure what you're looking for, but pretty much any burning software supports *.iso or *.cue image files.

So use your John's whatever to create .iso images and then you can access those in Nero no probs.
