Default Video editing software

I'm looking for a program that is similar to photoshop, except instead of editing images you can edit video instead (like make it fuzzy, etc)

Does such a program exist that doewsn't cost thousands of pounds?

Thanks

Have you tried Windows MovieMaker found in WIndows XP? It's pretty good and allows you to add effects to it like making it look real old (if you want the illusion of the video being filmed from the 50's) and other stuff.

Yes there is. It is Adobe Premiere. It is to video as to what photoshop is to pictures. Although it is a lot of money. You can get Sony vegas 6.0 which is about the same price.

ummmmmmmm, i dont use neither of them but i heard vegas is confusing, and if he trusts photoshop, he should trust premiere because they are both made by Adobe.

Adobe Premiere Elements. I just got it last week and it's easy to use. It's the "home" version of Premiere PRO. Pro takes a longer time to figure out and it probably has many more features.
I use Elements for snowboard video's me and my friends make and it's fine, has everything i need.
