Don't take my word for it, but I used to use convertX to DVD never had any real problems with it.

What formats are you wanting to convert? WinAVI is a good program, available here
http://www.winavi.com/en/download/download.htm

CRYSJON, please don't be offended, but I've deleted a line of your signature,
it was a blank line

your sig is now

PC-GAMER TAG -CRYSJON
XBOX-360 GAMERTAG - CRYSJON
Alienware Area-51 7500 SLI, EVGA NFORCE 680i SLI Motherboard, Intel Core 2 Duo E6700 2.67Ghz, 2046GB Low Latency RAM, NvidiA 8800GTX 768MB, High Performance Liquid Cooling, Alienware 3.0 Video Cooling, AlienAdrenaline Video Optimzer, 1000WATT PSU, 5.1 Surround Sound 560Watt Peak Power, 20X LG Dual Layer DVD+RW, 250GB HD.

instead of

PC-GAMER TAG -CRYSJON
XBOX-360 GAMERTAG - CRYSJON

Alienware Area-51 7500 SLI, EVGA NFORCE 680i SLI Motherboard, Intel Core 2 Duo E6700 2.67Ghz, 2046GB Low Latency RAM, NvidiA 8800GTX 768MB, High Performance Liquid Cooling, Alienware 3.0 Video Cooling, AlienAdrenaline Video Optimzer, 1000WATT PSU, 5.1 Surround Sound 560Watt Peak Power, 20X LG Dual Layer DVD+RW, 250GB HD.

there is a rule about sig lengths, being a max of five lines, this is just to keep the place looking tidy...

no big thing, but you know had to be done.

Win avi 7 I like best but it does not work on VISTA unless there is a plug in you can get now, Super DVD creator or Nero 7 can do it, if your looking for a video converter for use with a home camcorder like editing then I would suggest PINNACLE 9 or 10
