Is this video card worth the extra money?

I am planning on getting the

Sapphire X700 256MB Video Card

but for a bit more i could get the
EVGA GEFORCE 6800GS 256-P2-N386 VIDEO CARD

Is it worth paying a bit more to get thid card?

Definately. The X700 is a last generation card which doesn't support the latest features, such as Shader Model 3. The GS is probably around twice as fast

it is worth it in my opion but seeing the 6800 was made to run the games that are popular it this time (HL2, BF2 etc)

Wrong! You will see an improvement in past, present and future games over the X700

Wow... don't even question this... the x700's gpu is so bad... omg.... don't even bother. Get the gs. Trust me... compared with other gpu's, the x700 just wasn't made that well...
