Default Video Card Woes

Well i just got my new 22in moniter and it runs at a 1680x1050 resolution, so now when i play my games they look like crap if there not at that resolution -.- so its time for me to get a new one that can handle Crysis at 1680x1050 at a low/medium with a steady frame rate. Ive been looking at Video cards and these are my top choices and would like some feedback on them also im trying to keep it below $200. My PC specs are :

CPU: P4 3.01ghz
Ram: 2gb
OS: Windows Xp

and the video cards to choose from are:

Radeon HD 2900PRO 512MB 512-bit GDDR3: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...6&Tpk=100212SR

Geforce 8800 GT 256MB GDDR3: http://www.zipzoomfly.com/jsp/Produc...tCode=10007466

GeForce 8800GTS 320MB 320-bit GDDR3: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814130082

The 8800GTS will do the job. I just got one and it runs Crysis just fine at high settings on my 19" Acer widescreen LCD at 1440x900.

Yeah, the 8800GTS is a good card but the 3870 is only $20 more and will perform better for you: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814241067

the 8800GT is the best out of that bunch, i wouldnt get the 8800GTS 320MB, good card but for 60$ more you can get a very nice card, the 8800GT should out last the older GTS's by at least a couple of months on the high end market.

it all depends on how much you really want to spend. just spend the most money you want to and you can call it good

I've heard through reviews etc that the 8800GT 256MB is not a good option in the that price range. Apparently the 3850 outperforms it in a lot of benchmarks (heard that on a podcast). If your going to get a GT, make it the 512MB, and that's another increase of $50. What's your budget exactly?

Look at his CPU everyone. Thats going to be a severe bottleneck to any of the GPU's you have mentioned. Is that even a dual core?

Either of the cards will do you well. I have a 22" monitor and still have my 7600gt. I don't complain...

although I should, at some times.
