Is this video card too good to be true?

I'm going to building a comp, and I need a good enough agp card to use in my mobo that I have going. A 512mb video card for less than $200? Is it because it's agp? Or what?

Could be that... but most likely, its because the card is nearing two generations old.

Nah, the only thing that makes it better from a normal 6800 is the amount of memory. A normal 6800 has better memory clock, and about the same core clock.

And the difference between a 512mb card and a 256mb card ain't that much, sure the 512mb one is better, but not anything worth going crazy about.

U could get a card like 6800GS AGP for almost the same price.

Yeha, nm. The card uses gddr2 and 128bit. Nothing compared to a better 6800gs or a 7800gs...

It is cheap because it is NOT GDDR3 memory it is only GDDR2 slower

its not completely done. the 7800GS just came out, so THAT will probably be the final agp card.

ya thats probably the last one, get the 7800gs its well worth it but keep in mind agp isnt going to last much longer
