Default video card question

Can someone please tell me if this video card :

"Dell nVidia 08Y485 P162 128MB DVI VGA Video Card"

is compatible with my desktop Intel D945GTP mobo and if it is DX9? I appreciate any help.

The card i AGP, from what i can see so far the MB is not. The search continues.

Yea that motherboard doesn't look like it has an AGP slot, so that graphics card is a no-no. You can pick up a better one though. Your board has PCI-E x16 ports so there is a huge range of fast cards available to you. Are you looking to buy? If so whats your price and purpose?

yep agp in not compatible with your mobo

also when your looking for a video card and it says dell in the name or description.

Great piece of advise there actually. When you're looking for any PC components other than for a dell (which if you've bought one, you've already messed up) and you see DELL, click the back arrow. If panic sets in try Alt+<
