no it isnt, well it dpends wat games u play!!! my bro has on in his laptop and it5 can just about handle hl2 but halo's special shiny textures aren't supported!!

Default I got one of those...

An mx 400 is not a gamers card. It's a good little card for what it does but to play games it's just not up to snuff. I'm not a gamer and used mine to do just every day sorts of things like being here and running apps.
I do like my mx 4000 however, It's 128megs and is really quick. Has digital and s-video and vga outputs.

eVGA.com has the mx400 for around $50.00usd.
Mad Dog Multimedia has the mx4000 for $69.00usd.

I'm sure you can do better if you shop around.

I sold my 6800GT an for the meantime i am using a MX420. It can play CS:S and HL2 on medium/low settings...
