Default Video Card problem. Processor??

i have a 2600xt 512mb graphics card and no matter what game i play it looks like garbage im starting to wonder if its my processors fault my specs are

AMD Athlon 64 x2 dual core 4400+
2GB ddr2 ram
Vista home premium
MOTHER BOARD:
Manufacturer: Asustek computer inc
model: NARRA 2, 2.00
chipset: NVIDIA MCP61

if it looks like crap..then its most likely cause of your video card. processor would just make things laggy...it wouldn't take away the look of a video game. So you're vga is probably struggling...upgrade time

Are you talking artifacts? A faster video card won't make a game look any better at the same quality settings.
