Alright, so about those computer threads I have been starting...

I need a video card - and my ram, but I can take care of that. I have already ordered all the other stuff.

Should I wait for the new video card to come out on the 15th? I am willing to spend the $500 on a video card or whatever :D (Last time I looked it up, some 2gb card coming out was 500$ or something...) . But, my mobo does support xfire. It may be more effective to buy two video cards.. but I have no idea :D
(I would also be able to use four monitors! lol)

It will be a fairly descent PC.

Quad-Core 2.5 AMD. 4gb ram. The normal cool stuff... :D Want a video card that would do some real damage.. or some. And I will be running multiple monitors. Probably just two though.

You should wait...get dual 4870's, or a single gtx 280, since you're willing to spend that much, or the 4870 x2 when it comes out

8800gt's are going for fairly cheap right now. In Sli, 8800gt would probably offer better performance over the gtx for about the same price. Then again, if you had the Gtx, you would have the possibility of going Sli in the future for that once the price comes down more, and since its a 384-bit, you'd get better Sli performance.

Yes, I am building my own computer. And sorry for the off-topic, but my parts should be coming in tomorrow.. I have everything but the ram and video card.

To mount the processor, do I need that thermal paste or something?

And can I get a cheap adapter or something to use an AGP vid card in a PCI slot?

I would have forgotten about those questions if I didn't ask them now :D

Don't know what SLI is... Should I go with an expensive card like that? Like I said, I plan on having two monitors.. playing UT and WoW and other games, halo on it.. I plan on hooking it/them up so I can watch TV and play halo, X-Box on them. (I just need a TV tuner for that, correct?) So I wanted it to be at it's best!

Thanks in advance.

Wow, very off topic. Like I said, to watch TV and Movies on. I plan on getting one 22" and like an 18" or something. Looking for a price range, this looks good. How is it?
