Default Video card help

I am kind of new with video cards and I am currently updating one on my computer( t1905 emachine) it has an integrated video card and I need to know a good, cheap video card that is compatible with my computer.

Well the first thing i would do is pop the side off your PC case and check to see what open slots you have on your machine.

How old is your computer?

If you have white slots about 4" long they would be PCI slots
If you have a brown slot about 4" long that would be an AGP slot
Longer 5" slots that can be various different colors are PCI express

Here is a pic, Note PCI express is not in this Picture

I looked up your machine and these are the specs i found

This machine wont have PCI express
It MAY have AGP if you are lucky
It will MOST Likely have some PCI slots

the good news is you can get PCI videocards for very cheap and can pick them up at local stores such as walmart/staples

or if you want to get a videocard online check this out.

Cheapest and also the slowest and only DX7 compatible

Middle priced and DirectX 8 compatible

Most expensive and Direct X9 compatible
