which should i buy for the best gaming performance. the 7900gtx or the 7800gtx?

The 7900GTX if your going for Nvidia I believe.

Yeah, that is the best card out, but for the price, if you were going for ATI and not Nvidia, the X1900XT is a much better buy.

The XTX only has a 50mhz increase over the XT and costs ALOT more.
